Anitha and I just came back to
Zambia after a wonderful and
very productive trip to the
USA. This year we had meet-
ings in several locations—
from a Spanish Church in New
Orleans, to immigrant
Churches in Washington DC,
to a visit at Billy Graham's
headquarters in Charlotte.
Indeed, the variety of meet-
ings was great, and this is
exactly a part of Dream Facto-
ry`s vision - to serve the body
of Christ, preach the good
news about Jesus Christ and
stir up the hearts from all de-
nominations and cultures.
In our meetings we saw God’s
hand move—many people
were transformed and en-
couraged by God’s love.
What a great joy and privi-
lege it was to be part of God’s
plan! Furthermore, we were
very encouraged to see how
people responded to Dream
Factory`s work here in Zam-
bia. We strongly believe that
in the future, we will be even
more closely connected with
our international partners in
meeting the Dream of helping
people.
To all our American
friends, remember that you

Interview with former IT students by Mortson B Kasoma
A:We are
highly moti-
vated now that
we have this
as our starting
point. We
hope to up-
grade and
take up spe-
cialized com-
puter courses
whenever we
can afford it in
the future.
Even applying for jobs has become more
encouraging as this certificate will carry
more weight to potential employers. As
for me (Gift) it is the first time I have
had a certificate with my name on it
(aside from my high school certificate). I
am very motivated to get many more
such certificates to help me get a good
job.
Raymond and Gift, among others, have
been part of the previous intake for com-
puter lessons at Dream Factory Zambia. I
had an opportunity to meet them when
they came to the Dream House to collect
their graduation certificates.
Q:What was the most exciting thing about
taking IT lessons at Dream House?
A:Seeing
desktop
icons that
previously
meant noth-
ing to me
and now
mean some-
thing has
been excit-
ing. We
have always
wanted to
understand how Microsoft Excel worked
after the initial introduction and our
knowledge at present gives us confi-
dence to work out few mathematical
problems using MS Excel application.
The assignments were also a great tool in
helping us broaden our understanding as
this gave us more time to explore more
on specific IT topics on own.
Q:Has the participation in the IT lessons
changed your perception of how you look
at things?
A:It has changed us in a great way. We
have realized that IT is used almost every
day and in all kinds of activities that we
have always taken for granted. In the first
place and before we undertook IT lessons
with Dream Factory, IT looked complicat-
ed and now it seem easy to understand.
Q:How are you motivated now that you
have completed your IT lessons?

ENFYS Youth Program: Nine years ago, Pastor and Mrs. Joseph
Bwalya founded ENFYS Foundation in
Murundu, rural Mufulira, near the Congo
boarder post. In spite of youth having a
zeal for sports activities, there isn’t much
to do and some youth find themselves
playing such games as chess right into
late hours of the night. The youth popula-
tion in this area stands at 80% with most
of them subject to early marriages, pros-
titution and drug abuse.
Recently, Dream Factory was approached
by Fred Kashimoto and Mr. Kampamba,
the District Sports Officer in Mufulira, with
the request of extending the Adopt-a-
Club concept to Mufulira. We are happy
to announce that we have agreed and we
will start two clubs in August in the area.
It is the first time we are adopting clubs
outside Ndola. We are excited and look
forward to stretching our reach to under-
privileged and marginalized youth. Here
are some details about each club:
Kashimoto Academy: Kashimoto Academy, stands out in Mufuli-
ra as one of the best. The football club
trains at Mufulira Secondary School and
so far, the academy has built great rela-
tionships with both the parents and the
school at which it trains from.
Kashimoto Academy boasts of having
successfully built the under 12, 15, 17, 20
year old groups amidst challenging cir-
cumstances, hence the appeal to partner
with Dream Factory Zambia.
Fred Kashimoto is the found-
er and trainer for Kashimoto
Academy based in central
Mufulira.
He is former Zambian nation-
al team player and has been
recently appointed to help in
coaching the Mighty Mufulira
Wanderers, one of the divi-
sion one teams in Zambia.

Dream Factory Zambia Ministries has felt
God encouraging us to hold citywide
crusades in Zambia.
Under DFZM’s initiative, this important
task has been scheduled to take place in
Ndola at Newlife Mushili grounds the
22nd to 25th May 2013.
We are very excited to announce that
plans have reached an advanced stage as
we anticipate multitudes of souls to be
harvested for the Lord.
At the same time, Dream Factory Zambia
Ministries is also warming up for another
crusade in Twapia a compound in Ndola
planned for July this year. The Crusade in
July will be unique as it shall run in tan-
dem with the afternoon children's crusa-
de, conducted in partnership with a team
from a Danish church. We can also
encourage you to check out the
Ministries website that has been
updates with Crusade video clips,
and much more. Updates and pictu-
