From the teacher’s desk…. ‘I have no exceptional talents, other than a passionate curiosity’ – Einstein To my students, I’d like to say something. A new idea may not come to you every day. But when it does, respect it. Never let go of your thinking mind. Never let go of your curious mind. Nothing as miraculous as a human mind has been invented or will ever be made. And creativity is not an inborn talent rather a nurtured one. Everybody can be creative. For instance, if you look at an object from different angles, it would appear different every time. But the initiative of ‘looking’ should come from you. Once in a while, an unusual person, or an underdog even, emerges out of nowhere and earns a remarkable slice of admiration and appreciation. This year we have seen many such talents coming forward. And I was happy to note that their victories were enjoyed by everybody. I wish my school, its staff and children more and more of these joys.

The school has observed the UAE National Day with a splendid Arabic assembly. The event included traditional Arabian dances, a short film and a play put together by the students of Grade 5. All the students were asked to attend the school dressed in a pre-decided dress code. This was to make them form a 'Human-National-Flag' so as to celebrate 42 years of the Union. It was a good way to bring in a sense of solidarity in our students.

An assembly commemorating “Disability Day" was conducted by the students of Grade 5D. The assembly was very moving for all those who witnessed it. Meritorious students received their medals and certificates for the National Cyber Olympiad. Students made their own puppets during a puppet making session which was carried out by BIC. Students visited “Posh Paws" an animal sanctuary and Petting farm . The students had the opportunity to play, feed and learn about various animals in a hands-on manner. The Carnival organised at our school was a grand success thanks to our parents and students.

Arabic recitation was conducted in the class where in each grade learnt how to recite a short poem. This was a good opportunity for our students to improve their Arabic pronunciation skills. Mass P.E during the Assembly is introduced which will help the students to begin the day on an energetic and enthusiastic note. The highlight of the month was the overnight camp at school- N.U.T.S (Night Under The Stars). Both the students and teachers enjoyed the unique experience of spending the night in school. Various activities such as a campfire, group games, a movie and star gazing ensured that the students were well occupied and had a great time.
