My Summative Assesment School Governance at CDNIS

What is the system of Governance in the school? Explain How it works.

First, the founding members are the most highest, then the honorary president and the honorary patron. Board Of Governors comes next,and they are in charge of the chinese teaching department and parents helpers and also scholarships and the school money and IT and the premises and development. Then the headmaster then the principals, Vice principals and under is the teachers and CAS then students. The principals and the teachers get together to have discussions about the school and decisions being made. The principals and maybe the vice principals tell the teachers what to teach the students.

What impact does this system of governance have on individuals?

The positive impact is they get to have a good friendly school environment, and they have good school support and the schools pays the teachers well and the students get to learn a lot. The impact on the students is that they get to learn a lot in class, and the positive impact for the teachers is that they get good money and they get paid well.

What are people’s roles in this system of governance?

The roles of the teachers is to provide engaging learning for the students, and perform their duty as a teacher. The student’s role is to be a good learner and give their best effort that they can and try their hardest.The principal’s role is to make sure everything is going on track and he makes decisions about the curriculum and the teaching about the school with the vice principals.

What are people’s rights in this system of governance?The teachers and students have the right to have a voice and ask questions, challenges, and we have the right to make things better in a positive way. The rights of the principal is to kick out a student or a teacher if they are not being good or behaving badly and if they are not teaching or doing their job well, he can kick them out.
