The mechanical seal can be replaced without
removing the pump housing from the piping.
If a replacement pump is not immediately available,
a special blanking plate can be used to close the
pump housing.
Stand-by implementation: continuity or extra capacity
As an option, two Omegas can be used in a redundant implementation for extra capacity or reliability.
The stand-by pump is switched on by the control system when necessary.

Wide choice of motors
Made with a standard motor that was developed
speci cally for this pump series, the Omega is
particularly energy ef cient. Smart controls enable
the optimal speed to be set. For a higher ef ciency
an IE4 motor is available.
Tailored control system
Choosing the correct frequency drive depends on a
lot of factors: how and where the pump will be used,
the ow pattern, whether or not output sensors are
needed, integration in existing building or process
management systems, etc. Our sales engineers
determine the optimal choice for each case and
advise you accordingly.
Every project and application deserves a high-quality circulation pump that
is easy to set up and can quietly do its job efciently for many years. Get to
know our circulation pumps, they are guaranteed to get the maximum out of
every process.
compact circulation pumps for big performance
Energy-efcient, self-regulating circulation pump
The SimFlex circulation pump is an excellent choice
for a surprising number of applications. The SimFlex
can operate at a constant or proportional pressure or
be set to run automatically at optimal speed.
The pump reacts to resistance/pressure changes
caused by opening or closing thermostats. Needless
to say, this pump meets the latest ErP standards.
Night mode
The integrated ‘Night mode’ function enables the
energy consumption to be reduced to a minimum
during periods when there is a low demand.
Long life
The pump’s long life is achieved by using a quiet,
permanent magnet motor and ceramic bearings with
a long service life and high-quality components and
materials.
Easy to exchange
The compact design and standard connections mean
that the SimFlex always ts in existing systems and
can therefore be easily exchanged with other brands
of circulation pumps.
Other featuresnThe standard venting plug is easily accessible and
suitable for the removal of contaminants from the
system.nThe compact illuminated display on the pump
continuously displays the power consumption (Watts),
and any error possible codes. nProtected against excessive starting currents (> 2.5A)
caused by external control.
Eco Mode with integrated speed control
By default prepared for building management systems
* When compared to circulators with constant or proportional pressure.
Up to 40%* additional energy savings
In circulation processes, it’s all about
user comfort. The Magneta Smedegaard
series almost silently and automatically
ensures the reliable circulation of water in
heating and air-conditioning systems.
Eco Mode
The Magneta Smedegaard has various standard
settings, including ‘constant or proportional pressure’
and an Eco Mode. In the Eco Mode the pump
supplies the required pressure and output with
continuous adjustment and as ef ciently as possible
by making use of its integrated smart speed control.
The result is optimal comfort and minimal energy
consumption.

Magneta Smedegaard D(ouble), extra reliable
The Magneta Smedegaard D model provides extra
operational assurance due to its con guration of two
Magneta Smedegaard pumps and a special manifold
with integrated check valve.
User-friendly operation panel
Permanent magnet motor
Standard connections
The standard control system provides an automatic
pump change-over, for instance in case of a failure
in one of the pumps or after 24 hours of operation.
The pumps can also be used simultaneously for a
higher capacity.

40% of the life-cycle costs of a HVAC pump consist
of energy costs. Therefore, the efciency of the
hydraulic design and a well-selected and tuned pump
can make a signicant difference in the total cost.
The hydraulics of the norm pump impeller can be accurately
adapted to the operating point and, as standard, the pumps
are tted with energy-efcient motors that are suitable for use
in conjunction with a frequency converter to ensure optimum
efciency is achieved for every application.
We would be more than happy to support you in making the
most energy-efcient choice for your application.
