Normalized Sersic Profiles.
Simple profiles are actually rather rare in E galaxies.
Theoretical profiles and mass density distributions for modified isothermal spherers.
A set of King profiles for different concentration parameters (high concentration parameters to the right, low concentrations to the left)
Different sorts of Spiral/Disk galaxies.
Some examples of Irregular galaxies within the Hubble sequence.
Distributions of axial ratios (q=b/a) for S0 and Disk systems. The drop off at left in both cases gives some sense of how flat these galaxies can appear; it is clear that normal spirals can be quite flat when seen edge-on, while S0’s are puffier.
Star formation rate (the y-axis) on average increases as you move from E/S0 galaxies through the SaSd to Irregular sequence.
