MSBC Learning Outcomes

Students will graduate with a thorough understanding of the business, governance, policy, technical, and management issues that are the foundation of effective solutions to current and emerging threats, and they will develop the skills necessary to communicate those issues to others in their organization.

Students will be able to develop, implement, and test continuity programs, as well as mitigation and risk management strategies that reduce the likelihood of a business disruption.

Students will gain both a theoretical and practical understanding of disaster management and recovery.

Students will learn about the convergence of business continuity with other fields, including physical and information security, in order to bring together the various constituencies in an organization-wide continuity program.

If you are a member of one of our educational partners, you are eligible for an application fee waiver or a seminar 1 waiver.Those eligible for a seminar 1 waiver will begin the MSBC program with seminar 2.That means instead of taking the standard 36-credit, 18-month degree, you will complete the program with 30-credits in 15 months.
