I thought that's a nice way of saying it. How can I expect to spend eternity with God if half the time my thoughts are entirely opposite of God's thoughts. If, when someone crosses me, the first thing that comes into my mind is retaliation – how would I have joy in the presence of God? Can we really love what God loves and hate what God hates?
