Lunenburg, NS, World War I Monument. An infantryman 'stands easy' with his rifl e atop a grey granite plinth carved from the same stone. The names of the dead from the region are carved into three sides of the monument, and a dedication is on the front. The back of the plinth also has an excerpt from McCrae's poem "In Flanders Fields".
