DOLPHIN STATION PARK AND RIDE TRANSIT

The Project comprises of a new park-and-ridetransit terminal facility and an access roadlocated within the northwest quadrant of theHomestead Extension of the Florida’s Turnpike(HEFT) and NW 12th Street interchange, onland owned by FDOT and MDX.

The Dolphin Station Park & Ride TransitTerminal Facility will support the Miami-DadeTransit SR 836 Express Bus service as well asother planned Express Bus routes; andadditionally the facility will potentially be usedas a terminus or stop for several local busroutes serving the Dolphin Mall and the nearbycities of Sweetwater and Doral.

The project includes utility connections to thisnew facility; as well as the widening andresurfacing of the adjacent NW 12 St whichfronts this facility.

MUNICIPAL - RAVENSWOOD BUS MAINTENANCE FACILITY

BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA

Project had been registered with USGBCLEED Green Building Rating SystemProgram. Project consisted of reconstructingan entire facility in 7 phases while thecomplex remained in operational status.

The project required construction of a fuelingand new maintenance facility for conductingbus repairs, maintenance, and also includedan administrative office area containingoffices, lounges and break areas for driversand administrative personnel.

This project consisted of site preparation and infrastructureconstruction as part of the Fort Lauderdale-HollywoodInternational Airport expansion of Runway 9R-27L.

RJ Behar assisted the contractor in achieving contractcompliance with all State and Federal Equal EmploymentOpportunity (EEO) requirements, as applicable to this project,including the provisions of the U.S. Department ofTransportation Federal Aviation Administration Order 5100.38.
