Today marks your first step on the long, winding and gratifying path towardsleadership greatness.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the tremendously dedicated staff of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), it is my pleasure to welcome you to our 11th Annual Leadership Institute & Recruitment Fair. As TMCF’s largest conference, the Leadership Institute is designed to build upon the knowledge and skills imparted from our vibrant and distinguished Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), adding an integral layer to further expand and fortify your leadership abilities.
This year’s Leadership Institute endeavors to deliver on the promise of Devel-oping Minds ... Delivering Dreams, offering a wealth of informed insights, expert guidance and feedback necessary to assist your continued growth as future leaders on a national and global stage.
During the next four days, you will be presented with the enviable opportunity to engage with some of the most promising students from across the HBCU community, as well as network with top recruiters and senior-level executives from governmental agencies and blue-chip corporations. In addition, many of you will lead interactive sessions intended to enhance your financial literacy, global leadership principles, and personal leadership branding.
At the Leadership Institute, our core focus is to arm our students with the critical tools to excel in their educational, professional and personal pursuits and the schedule of activities promises to deliver just that.
