ABOUT THE TRIALThe O.K. Corral trial took place because there was a gunfight that took place on October 26, 1881, in Tombstone, Arizona Territory, and is perceived as the most famous gunfight of the American Old West. The gunfight, only 30 seconds long, was fought between Tom McLaury and his brother Frank McLaury, and the opposing were Virgil Earp and his brothers Morgan and Wyatt. Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
