Lenten Prayer
Share Lent
Once again, we will be supporting local
and global causes through alms giving during
Lent.
The Free the Children students are
leading a Food Drive initiative as part of our
annual Share Lent Campaign. Please send in
non-perishable food items with your children
in support of this cause.
The group will be organizing a few
Spirit Days, a “Silent Day” and a “Minute to
Win It” extravaganza. We will be doing a num-
ber of change collections in conjunction with
these Spirit Activities and students will gain
entry as spectators and/or participants by do-
nating to the cause.
Almighty and Everlasting God, You have given the human race
Jesus Christ our Savior as a model of humility.
He fulfilled Your Will by becoming Man
And giving His life on the Cross.
Help us to bear witness to You
By following His example
And make us worthy to share in His Resurrec-
tion.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Your Son.
Amen

We are continuing with our healthy
snack program here at St. Joseph’s School.
Many students participate on a regular basis.
On any given day, we are providing snacks for
up to 80 students.
Thanks to the staff and students who
make this possible; purchasing food items, or-
ganizing the snacks and preparing them for de-
livery to the classes and making sure the food
bowls are returned.
We are also grateful for our sponsors,
such as the Arnprior Metro.
Please note that the grant money that we
receive can only be used to purchase food. At
this time, we could use donations of plastic
spoons and small baggies.
Throughout March our focus
will be on increasing students
abilities to understand prob-
lem solving in familiar social
situations, the size of the
problem and coming up with
solutions for those problems.
What is a problem?
A problem is a situation that requires a solu-
tion.
