Description This program develops students’ skills in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills. Students learn to analyze and apply the current practices of a 3D Integrated Design Process (IDP) and contribute to the design/build team utilizing Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methods.
Students may choose one of the following combinations of disciplines for the Diploma program: 1. Architectural and Civil/Structural 2. Steel Detailing and Architectural 3. Steel Detailing and Civil/Structural
Admission Requirements Grade 12 graduation English proficiency requirement: - English 12 with a C or higher, or - Academic IELTS 6.5 (With no band less than 6.0), or - TOEFL iBT 80 (Listening 20, Speaking 20, Reading 20, Writing 20), or - Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test: Listening 8, Speaking 7, Reading 8, Writing 7 Math 11 with a C or higher (Trigonometry and Algebra recommended)

The updated drafting and 3D modeling skills will enable graduates to work as team members in consulting engineering firms, architectural firms, fabrication and development companies, municipal, provincial or federal offices, and in private industry. Graduates will work on a wide variety of structures, highway construction and development work and apply qualifications from two disciplines to become more competitive in the job market and adaptive in the work place.
