ACTIVITY Try making mirror reflections. This classic activity is fun inside and outside. Go outside with a small hand mirror. Ask your child to place the mirror so it faces up, right below the eyes. What does the mirror reflect? Walk around and see the sky, tops of trees and birds. Ask your child to describe what he or she sees. Now try with the mirror just above the eyes, facing down. The ground will look strange. You can tilt the mirror a little to change the reflections.
