UNDERWATER  PLATFORMS  ON  DISPLAY    Check  out  our  tidal  monitoring  platforms  before  they  go  to  sea!      FORCE  invites  you  to  explore  our  two  Fundy  Advanced  Sensor  Technology  (FAST)  platforms,  now  in  their  final  stages  of  testing  before  sea  trials.  The  FAST  platforms  are  recoverable  instrument  platforms  designed  to  monitor  and  characterize  the  FORCE  site.  Using  a  variety  of  onboard  sensing  equipment,  the  platforms  enable  real-­‐time  data  from  the  Minas  Passage,  including:  

-­‐ Currents  and  turbulence  -­‐ Marine  life  activity  -­‐ Noise  levels  -­‐ Seabed  stability  

 The  Atlantic  Canadian  companies  that  built  and  equipped  our  platforms  will  be  on  hand  to  explain  how  they  work.      Details
