Historical Background

Wallenberg’s work as Sweden’s envoy in Budapest in 1944 was a cover for a humanitarian mission as a secret emissary of the U.S. War Refugee Board, created to try to stem the annihilation of Europe’s Jews

Student Profile

The school culture will reflect the life of Raoul Wallenberg, promoting learning through community and compassion.

In order to allow for the enriched, heritage and sports concentration options, the time for compulsory subjects has been reduced by 20% on average.

Students attending Wallenberg Academy need to be able to maintain a high academic standing even with this reduction in time.

Note:●in order to participate in the Sports Program, the student must show a proficiency in one of the selected sports program (swimming, soccer, tennis, by providing a letter of support from their sports club or coach or association)

Note:in order to participate in the Sports Program the parent is responsible for developing a liaison with the corresponding athletic club or coach or association for the coaching aspect of the program from 1:00 to 3:00, Monday to Friday

Enriched Program

Note:Students must demonstrate an interest

and a desire to pursue studies in a heritage language (Hebrew, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin, – subject to demand) and one more of the choices below:

Minimum Numbers

A minimum 75 students is required to open in August 2014

This would consist of a minimum of 2 groups
