How to Add Tables

• This tutorial explains how to add tables into a data model.

Add Tables

1.Click once

The simplest way to add tables is by using the toolbar.

If you click once the Table tool, you will create one

table; after that the arrow tool will be the selected tool

If you double-click the Table tool, you can create several

tables: the Table tool will be permanently selected.

1. Click on the diagram

The Table tool is selected for a one-time table

creation.

The Arrow tool is the permanently-selected tool.

The shape of the cursor changes when Table tool is

selected.

1.Double-click and edit

There are three places where you can change the name of the newly created table: 1) on the

diagram.

The name of the table changes accordingly.
