 The purpose of the Knowledge Center is: To provide quality books of general and professional education.

To provide effective services to support the needs of students, faculty and staff.

• Monday-Friday : 7.00 AM to 3.00 PM

• Saturday : 7.00 AM to 12.30 PM

• Sunday Closed

No Food or Drinks in the Library

Please turn your cell phone ringer off and set it on vibrate mode.

Cell phone conversations are strictly prohibited.

If found using mobile phone in library, device will have to be surrendered to office which will be returned only on payment of 500/-.

Bags are not allowed in library. Kindly put your bags at the property counter

at the entrance of library. Do not bring valuables in the library or keep

them in your bags. Remove your shoes outside the library during

rainy days. Do not put non library material unattended

on reading tables

Knowledge Center offers many services and resources to our students, faculty, and staff. These include:

• Research & Reference Services

• Circulation Services• Computer Access• Books & E-books• Journals

• Document Delivery• Interlibrary Loan• Open access• Reservation of books• Book bank service

Student ID/Library Card

The Student ID/Library card gives access to borrowing privileges to books from the library.

Students will be provided library card for free first time.

Library cards are valid till the graduation period only.

Students have to renew their ID Cards form the library after completion of every semester.

Loss of Student ID Card, Library Card or Reader’s ticket must be reported in writing to the librarian and can be re-issued only after payment of fine for the same

Student’s ID Card 50/-

Library Card 30/-

Reader’s Ticket 5/- each

Circulation of Books

Students will be provided with two yellow colored Library Reader’s Ticket, through which books can be issued .

As our Library follows open access policy students can browse through stacks and bring books to issue.

Students can search through OPAC for desirable titles and authors.

Students can reserve items on their account with reservation facility.

Books will be issued for a period of 7 days only.

Books can be renewed on the completion of seven days.

Reference books and materials on reserve are not subjected to issue.

You have to pay fine for overdue of books : 5/- per day.

Students can use book bank facility for issuing of textbooks for the entire session ( six months) by paying 10% of books amount.

Pages of books should not be folded to serve the purpose of a bookmark.

In case of loss of the book double payment will be charged from the student.

Any damage to library furniture & books may lead to withdrawal of membership, payment of fine and disciplinary action against the student.

Resources

Our library is housing about 5000 books for general issue and more than 2700 Textbooks for Book Bank issue.

We have subscribed around 38 Magazines and 11 reference journals and 5 daily news papers.

Current issues are on the display shelves.

Issue of Periodicals is non permissible.

The membership of students found tearing pages from periodicals will be suspended and they will be charged with a penalty.

How to Use The Library Catalog:

The Library Catalog is accessible through

students access pc. Use the library catalog to search for books.

The Library catalog is similar to an internet search engine. Conduct your search by using the search features: title, subject, author or keyword.
