Giving Charity

Our residents love to give back to the community! We have been giving charity or tzedakah during our morning prayers program, and it really inspires our residents that they are able to help others, especially during our high holiday season!

Baking

We baked challah for the high holidays! We learned the regular single- strand round bun, and how to make a 4-strand ‘crown’ challah! The round shape of the challah signifies the circle of life, and reminds us of how we are always in the process of self-

improvement.
