Our school

We live near our capital Kyiv in town Brovary. It is situated about 20 km from it.

It is an industrial town. There is a big park with lake in it.

There are eleven schools and a sport school there. Our school is big.

There are more than 1000 students in our school. There is a stadium and three gyms there too.

We are pupils of the 8 th grade. Ukrainian is our native language, English is our second language.

We also learn Ukrainian, Ukrainian literature, World literature, History,

Chemistry, Physics, Physical education , Algebra, Geometry, Art.

We also learn Russian , some of us learn Polish, French, German or Spanish.

We have 7 lessons a day, we study from Monday till Friday. Our classes

start at 8.30 and finish at 3 p.m. After every lesson we have break for 10-15

minutes.

Our school year divided into two terms. There are holidays in autumn and

spring(a week), in winter (two weeks), in summer(3 months).
