Plastic is horrific because it can end up polluting our community. 2.Also, 90% of seabirds have been harmed or hurt by the amount of plastic that was found in their stomach.3. Did you know, 8 million tones of plastic ends up in the ocean every year. 4. Surprisingly, a truck full of plastic ends up in the ocean every minute.5. Scientists say by the year 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean then there are fish.6. Every single peace of plastic that people have used is still somewhere on this planet. It never goes away…

We have entered a competition called the `Premier League Primary Stars’, they would like us to make a pledge, so we decided to try and stop using cling film, sandwich bags(zip lock bags) in our lunchboxes.

The Premier League and SKY have teamed up to inspire many different pupils around the countries to reduce, re-use and recycle the amount of plastic we all use…

What we could winIf we win, we will be able to see a star from the Premier League, the Premier League trophy and a big whale they made out of plastic bottles to put in our playground. But in order to have a chance to win, we have to stick with our pledge.
