What are we going to learn?

*focus on ecosystems*based on California state standards

*outdoors as a classroom*use hands on experience and

observation

Constant observation and hands on activityleads to amazing

Responsibilities

*daily academic instruction*share living space with approx.

10 other kids*keep cabin neat

*help in mess hall with: setting tables, serving, clean up

Daily schedule7:00- wake up7:50- breakfast

9:15- meet teacherGroup meeting/lesson

4:00- Cabin time/group meeting5:20- dinner

7:00- evening program8:45- bedtime preparation

9:30- Lights out!!

Student Expectations

Students are expected to behave in an exemplary manner at all times. They are

expected to use manners, be considerate of others and respect all other people at camp.

If there are any major behavior issues or if there are repeated issues, students will be removed from camp with NO REFUND and parents will need to drive to Malibu to pick

your child up that day.

There will be NO exceptions on this!

Who will be caring for our children?

*The Outdoor Science School staff(There are OSS staff bio’s on the website.)

Who pays for camp?

Parents are responsible for the total cost-$314.00
