If your Outlook does not open correctly, here is how to repair the Exchange email account so that Outlook can open properly again.

1. Click on the Start button in the bottom left of the screen, this will open the Start Menu:

2. Click on "Control Panel" in the new menu, this will open the Control Panel window. If your Control Panel looks different than the one below, in the left hand menu select “Switch to Classic View” to change the look. Then double click on the “Mail” icon to open the Mail Setup – Outlook window.

3. In the Mail Setup – Outlook window that comes up, click on “E-mail Accounts…”

4. In the Account Settings window that opens, click once on the Exchange email account to be sure it’s highlighted and then select the “Repair…” option from the menu directly above.

5. In the Repair E-mail Account window that comes up, click “Next” to begin the repair process.

6. Click “Finish” once the repair has completed. Your Outlook should now open properly.
