Dunphy prefabricated, packaged plant rooms are containerised
energy centres manufactured off-site in our factory complex in Rochdale.
We have extensive experience in building Plant Rooms using biogas, liquid
biofuels, recovered organic waste derived fuels, biodiesel and fossil fuels.
We are not tied to any specific boiler maker and are therefore free to select the
most cost efficient shell for each specific site operation.
PACKAGED PLANT ROOMS
Dunphy clients always have direct contact with our engineers
throughout project design, manufacture, site link-up and
subsequent ongoing service support and maintenance - bypassing
the alternative lengthy, third party contractual chain.
We prepare all FDS reports, DSEAR analyses and SIL assessments.
Dunphy plant rooms are
delivered fully assembled
to site where
commissioning is carried
out by our team of
experienced mechanical
and electrical engineers.
Consider a packaged or
containerised boiler house
if
✦ space is at a premium
✦ on-site construction would be expensive or disruptive
✦ a biomass or liquid biofuel system is being installed to complement an existing traditional boiler house
✦ a high spec energy centre is
needed for a new development
Our resourcesDunphy’s manufacturing complex houses three purpose built factories and test
centres on a 10 acre site just off the M62 in Rochdale.
The prefabrication production unit provides a vast, clear span, unobstructed
interior for the assembly and testing of all types and sizes of packaged plant
rooms. Large entrance canopies allow transporters easy access for loading units
for delivery to site.
Integrated design, manufacture and assemblyOur in-house designers produce detailed specifications and 3D CAD drawings of
the plant room components and final assembly then work in tandem with the
manufacturing engineers to build and assemble the unit. The burner is the critical
component in any Plant Room and we design and manufacture single and
multifuel axial air flow burners in our factory.
Our procurement engineers have extensive experience in sourcing best value
boilers, CHP engines, weatherproof container housing, piping, extraction and
ancillary items to ensure each individual site specification and budget is matched.
Before handover to clients, our commissioning engineers ensure that the Plant
Room is operating to specified turndown, modulation, output and emissions levels
and carry out all on-site training of client staff. A full after sales maintenance and
support programme is available.
Fuel and system testingWhere biofuels are being used as the main or supplementary fuel source, we test
the critical fuel characteristics to identify optimum levels of filtration, blending
and operating temperatures and refine the engineering designs to take account of
any calorific value differences and minimise levels of all harmful emissions.
Remote combustion control solutionsDunphyDelta provides remote monitoring and control of the boiler house via any
internet connected laptop, tablet or smart phone.
Alternatively, our suite of Ratiotronic software allows boiler and burner operations
to be monitored and managed either within the Plant Room or via remote access
from all standard PCs. Our control solutions ensure that multi-fuel changeovers
are performed safely, quickly and efficiently.
Our projects are completed safely, on time and to budget.
