1. St. Mark's “On the Spot Painting Competition” is open for classes I – XII.
2. Two participants per class are permitted.
3. Reporting Time is 8:30 a.m. sharp. Time duration for Painting Competition
will be 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
4. The participating schools should send their students along with their art
teacher in their own mode of conveyance.
5. Topics for all the classes will be announced on the spot.
6. Drawing sheets will be provided by the host school.
7. Participants should bring the following drawing material with them: board,
brushes, colours (crayons, water colours etc.) water bottles and water
containers.
8. In addition to painting competition there will also be a Collage Making
competition for senior classes. A team of two students from secondary level
(IX – X) and a team of two students from senior secondary level (XI – XII)
can participate. The topic will be given on the spot. Participants should
bring their own material for collage making.
9. All participants should write the following particulars at the back of their
painting/collage: Full Name, Class and School Code. The School Code will
be provided at the time of registration. Please note school's name is not to
be written.
10. A panel of reputed artists will assess the paintings and the collages. Their
decision will be final which will not be challengeable in any form.
11. All participants will get participation certificates.
12. Students using unfair supporting material will be disqualified.
13. Refreshment will be provided by the host school.
14. First, Second, Third and five special prize winners will be awarded
individual trophies at each class level.

15. “Best School Trophy” for Primary (classes I – V) and Seniors (classes VI
– XII) shall be awarded to the school scoring the maximum points. A
separate trophy shall also be awarded for “collage making”. The host
school will not compete for the Rolling Trophy.
16. The prize distribution ceremony will be held in the month of January 2020.
17. Previous year's prize winning paintings will be displayed on the day of the
competition.
18. All the entries must be sent class wise in BLOCK LETTERS on the school
letter head duly signed by the Principal with the name of one thaccompanying teacher, latest by 8 November 2019 (Friday).
