What is Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum? 0 Agenesis refers to when to the failure of an organ to develop during embryonic growth and development. 0 Corpus Callosum: Largest commissure within the brain which help to connect the two hemispheres. 0 Agenesis of the corpus callosum: A birth defect in which the corpus callosum doesn’t develop at all or is partially developed. 0 ACC can occur as an isolated condition or in combination with other cerebral abnormalities.

5 Short Term Goals0 1. Withstand tummy time for 10 minutes 2 times a

day.0 2. Increase pt. tolerance to change in elevation to

increase body awareness up to ten minutes per session.

0 3. Client will be able draw liquid out of sippy cup 1 out of three times.

0 4. Client will be able to demonstrate a pincer grasp with L UE 3 out of 5 times.

0 5. Client will be able to demonstrate bi-lateralization of UE 4 out of 6.

Activity #1

0Goal:. Withstand tummy time for 10 minutes 2 times a day

0Activity: Have client lie prone on therapists lower legs while being gently bounced for maximum toleration.

Activity #2

0Goal: Client will be able draw liquid out of sippy cup 1 out of three times.

0Activity: Using a pursed lip technique client blows a cotton ball across the table and off the end.

Activity #30Goal: Increase pt. tolerance to change in

elevation to increase body awareness up to ten minutes per session.
