Stop Sign Reminders Please tell your visitors and family members that there have been sightings of vehicles driving through the stops signs at the front of the neighborhood close to the basketball court, clubhouse, and pool, where pedestrians AND children cross. PLEASE make sure to come to a complete stop and look both ways. The streets and clubhouse parking lot have recently gotten a new coat of paint in order to brighten their appearance. This should also help with seeing the speed bump and stop sign areas. Yard Sale Receipts The Community Yard Sale that took place in May at the clubhouse was a success with many shoppers. For anyone that donated unsold items to the Rescue Mission of Cape Fear, that did not receive a tax receipt, please email April Kelly at aprilevekelly@gmail.com, so she can provide you with one.

  • Pest Proofing Tips In case there are sightings of any pests in or around your house, here are a few tips that have been provided for review.

    • Keep all storage off the floor at the inside an outside of foundations perimeters.

    • Make sure to clean and organize your garage, attic, and basement areas on a regular basis.

    • Never leave food or water out overnight, even for your pets. • Clean up after your pets daily for rat prevention-pet feces are a food

source for rats and mice. • Eliminate debris such as garbage or compost piles on the property. • Bird feeders can attract rats, as can fruit trees. • The best prevention is making sure they can’t get in. Rodents can get in

through cracks and holes the size of a pencil eraser. Seal up potential entrances around foundation, pipes, vents, and ducts.
