When there is a center dot on the dice, the center dot represents the “rose.”

If there are dots around the rose, they represent the “petals.”

The value for each die is determined by counting “petals” around the “rose.”

The value for each roll is determined by adding up the petals on each die.

For example, a roll of 3, 3, 4, 1, 4 is valued at 2 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 4.
