HERITAGE STATION WINERY

Heritage Station Winery,

named for the train station

that used to sit on the property,

sits across 100 acres

of farm land.

Along with the grapes

required to produce

their award winning

Chardonnay and Merlot,

the farm land also includes

peaches, apples, & sugar plums.

Owned and operated by Bill,

Penni and Richard Heritage – 5th

& 6th generation farmers –

Heritage Station Winery

produces approximately

4,500 cases, or 54,000 bottles

of wine annually

and are still expanding.

Carl, our tour guide for the day, said he

couldn’t be happier working for Heritage

Station.

Here he is explaining the wine aging process

and the difference between French and

American Oak barrels .

His favorite day of the year? The day they go

through all 58 barrels for sampling!
