Texture refers to the visual quality of the surface of an object, use the Marco setting on your camera or phone to get a close up.

Can you find different types of textures? Some might be soft or hard, natural or manmade.

Shadows and Reflections

Capturing shadows and reflection is a great starting point for understanding how light responses when it meets different surfaces, and how it can

enhance or change your photograph.

Try experimenting with different reflective surfaces.

Have a go at capturing different shadows or try creating your own.
