•  Mesh or the elevation data. You need to have mesh which can be downloaded atavsim and flightsim.com. Search for the keyword “Thailand mesh”. Or use

Fsglobal program.

• AI is not included. World of AI is recommended for freeware. Ultimate Trafficfrom Fight1 is recommended for payware. If you use FSX compatible AI, the jetway will operated to AI’s as well.

•  Charts are no included. You can search from Google. Or go tohttp://wwwlaisthai.go.th/webais/download_aip.php  You will get the real charts

from Aeronautical Information Services. All the airports charts in Thailand areavailable there.

Installation:

***** You need to change your FSX.cfg ***** 

It is located in C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX. You

need to make folder “Documents and Settings” visible by go to Tool-> Folder options->

Show hidden file. Then open FSXcfg and look for TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024and change to 2048 since I use a bigger texture sheet to make less draw call.

Unless you will experience blur texture in many buildings.

1.  If you purchase from Simmarket, there is a installer. You need to do as installer

told you to do. Then you will get VTSP_FSX and VTSP_Landclass in your

Addon Scenery folder in FSX. Please add both of them to the scenery library andlet VTSP_Landclass below priority than VTSP_FSX

2.  Please set your FSX setting to these recommendation:

a.  Light bloom is off.

 b.  Set Aircraft to cast shadow on the ground. Cast shadow to itself-> off.c.  Set water to mid 2.0x.

d.  Set texture resolution to 60 cm.

e.  Set mesh to around 19 meters.

f. 

Scenery Complexity to highest unless you will not see the animated jetway.

g.  Set Autogen to Dense.h.  Set Ground Scenery cast shadow to off.

i.  Cloud draw distance to 70 miles. Detail cloud coverage to medium.

 j.  Set airline traffic to what you like.

k.  Set airport vehicle density to around 50%.l.  Set road traffic to 10%.

At these setting, my core 2 can get frame rate about 25-27 fps. You can adjust

more if you have higher power system. Core Quad is recommended. You needmainstream graphic card only. CrossFire graphic card has no benefit to FSX.

3.  The default jetways are animated ones. I do have static gate in the folder

VTSP_FSX/Scenery/Jetway. You can try that but you need to delete

AnimatedJetway out first. Don’t worry, I have both type of jetway backup in thisfolder. To my experiment, it does not help much with the frame rate but it looks

 better than animated one.
