Site Footing Construction

First of all the soil survey is taken by the Soil engineer at site.

After that the Type , Place , Depth & Spacing of footing is designed.

By using TOTAL STATION grid line rods are fixed on the ground as per design which is shown in following pictures.

PRE EXCAVATION WORK

After fixing the rods as per details the boxes are made as shown in pictures for Further EXCAVATION WORK.

EXCAVATION

After making boxes on ground that part is excavate by using excavator shown in pictures.

RUBBEL SOLING

Rubbel soiling is done on excavated ground when water table at site is higher.

PCC & MARKING OF CENTER OF FOOTING

After compacting rubble soil a layer of PCC is applied.

Grid line is lowered to the PCC layer using plumb bob.

Using grid line ,centerof footing is marked on specified place as per design.

REINFORCEMENT NET

Boxes are made as per the size of the different footings & it is put in appropriate place on the PCC layer.

As per REINFORCEMENT details the net is made & put in the boxes , cover is also provided as per details

CONCRETEING

After placing nets of reinforcement in the boxes concrete work is done as per mix design.

Vibrator is used for compacting of concrete.

Combined footing is also shown in picture.

FORMWORK TO PEDESTAL

After construction of footing formwork is provided to the pedestal as shown in picture.
