Once upon a time...

Lead Partner

My colleague

the project

He proposed me to

work with him and I

said yes!

Why is Maritime Spatial Planning important?

Where is the data?

Luckily we have the HELCOM map and data service

maps.helcom.fi

6 partners

18 organization

s

We needed more data

and our partners were

very busy collecting

and creating data

Creating

our own

data

After the data collection

and creation we started

to:

Map the future

Marker and

paper were the

best tools

The processData

collection

Synthesis

The pilot plan!

What did we learn?

Everthing we did

was open!

We shared our activities and processes in our web site: planbothnia.org

All data can be viewed and

downloaded from our map

service

Maritime Archaeology @ University of Southern DK's

We found very little or no data at all for certain topics as

offshore underwater archaeology

Summing up

We tested a

transboundary, offshore MSP
