Factors influencing effectiveness of indirect retainer:•1-Distence from the fulcrum line,•2-Effectiveness of tooth support.•3-Effectiveness of direct retainers.•4-Regidity of the connector supporting the indirect retainer.•5- Indirect retainer must be rigid.
