Students will partake in a physical screening session, analysing their physical attributes and areas of improvement.

Following this, students will carry out a generic technical motorskills session to assess their suitability for our programme.

Please Note: We regularly test the physical attributes of every student in the Athlete Academy to ensure that they will not be at significant risk of injury/burn out. This is due to the high level of physical training we carry out each week.

Wednesday 7th October 2020

3 separate sessions based on specialisms

Once you have applied to the school, you will receive an invite to the appropriate session for your child, please ensure you accept the place by replying to the email as these are limited due to Covid-19

Your performances will be viewed by our Specialism Coaching staff for Sport Specialism. The purpose of this is to allow us to check your suitability for our KS4 Athlete Academy programme

Along with the live physical and technical screening, if your son/daughter has a highlights/showreel of their sporting performance, you are welcome to send this to us to support their application.

You can send footage on a memory stick via post or via email using YouTube, WeTransfer or other suitable methods
