POLS is a rigorous, nine-month Master’s degree program offering world-class exper tise in policy, organizational management skills, and a firm grasp of formal and informal leadership. Drawing on an interdisciplinary knowledge base, students may tailor their coursework to t h e i r i n t e r e s t s b y p u r s u i n g a concentration in Higher Education, PreK-12 Education or an Individually Designed Concentration. Many elect to participate in an internship that links classroom learning with real world
The Joint MA/MBA program is a stimulating, full-time leadership degree program that un i f i e s the bus iness pr ior i t ie s o f a comprehensive MBA degree at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) with graduate coursework at the Stanford School of Education, resulting in a personalized, world-class educational management curriculum. Gr adua te s a r e g i ven a c ce s s to an individualized framework to develop their passions and academic interests, which may include subjects such as education policy, education management, and the application of technology in the classroom, to name but a few. Small class sizes enable us to form a community of scholars and practitioners that becomes invaluable to your professional and personal development.
POLS and Joint MA/MBA alumni have gone on to work in management positions within education organizations across all sectors. Here are a few examples of the types of positions alumni pursue:
・1ST YEAR: Complete GSB curriculum,
