Spartan government was made up of 2 kings and a council of elders.

Citizens were male and 30 years old.

Athens emerged into a democracy, a government by the people.

Solon outlawed debt slavery and freed the slaves.

Cleisthenes started the Council of 500 which was made up of common citizens.

Using your knowledge and sheet from yesterday,

create a story about Sparta and/ or Athens. Use at

least 4 vocabulary terms (phalanx, Solon, Greek

gods, etc.) throughout your story

Add illustrations with your work.Ex. Scrupulus was a poor boy in Athens who could not afford an education. He decided to head to another polis where he could find work. He waved good bye to his family and headed on his way. Sparta was his destination.
