Network Misconceptions

When Logging in you only need to put firstname.lastname

You do not need to put Portage.k12.in.us

Outlook is now keyed to Lastname for searches.

Saving My Files

H Drive is where your old stuff should be

My Documents is your centrally repository going forward

• Wherever you login, your my documents will follow you.

Space issues• Not for Videos and films from personal events.

• Pictures and videos should be archived out to external media after 3 years.

Active Sync on IPAD or IPHONE

Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.

Enter the information in the fields below, then hit Next

• No Login Required ( uses network username and Password)

• Used for access from remote locations

• ie: home, airport, vacation
