POSITION PROFILE for
HEAD OF SCHOOL
Educating for Eternity
Since 1949
OUR SCHOOL
Founded in 1949, Timothy Christian School (TCS) is a K4-12 non-denominational, evangelical faith-based independent college preparatory school. TCS operates on the premise that the Word of God requires that parents be responsible for the education of their children (Deut. 6; Psalm 78). The Christian home, Christian school, and the Church must work together to provide consistent Christian training. Our school works in harmony with parents to achieve this
objective. Therefore, we strive to provide the finest academic education possible in accordance with God’s Word. Working together, we create an atmosphere of learning conducive to the growth of the child as a Christian student – a student not only of academics, but also of character and the Word of God. Our goal is to enable and empower students to live for Christ as they study at TCS and move on in life. Whether going off to college or stepping into the workforce, we want our students to be ready to meet all challenges intelligently from a Biblical worldview and with Christ-like character.
OUR COMMUNITY
OUR MISSION Educating for Eternity
At a Glance
In partnership with the Christian home and church, we strive to provide the finest Christ-centered education, equipping students to live productive, God-glorifying lives.
To this and our Lord Jesus Christ we are devoted.
TCS is located in Piscataway, NJ and serves over 400 ethnically diverse students from 310 families. Our families represent over 100 churches in the Central Jersey area.
With a student-teacher ratio of 11:1, one of the strengths of TCS is the relationship the teachers are able to develop with the students. Our staff of dedicated Christian teachers
strives to model Christ in the classroom and out while getting to know students and families personally.
A commitment to strong academics combined with 23 competitive athletic teams, award winning debate and robotics teams, excellence in visual and musical arts, a
