organic matter (NOM) and other contaminants

Traditional organic testing (TOC, DOC, BOD, COD) were designed for lab use and attempts to adapt for process environments difficult as they are; expensive, complicated and time consuming

UV254 most practical, affordable and easy to measure organic test

In addition, UV254 has bias towards reactive (aromatic) organics, which are most problematic

Reactive organics are the most important predictor of harmful Disinfection By-Products (DBPs)
