Government Buildings is where they meet. You can see them on Parliament TV.

With Granddad and Nana in Richmond, Nelson.

At church on Christmas Day in Nelson with friends from Egypt

Christmas family gathering with Mum’s uncles aunts and cousins and their families in Brightwater, Nelson.

Top of the Takaka Hill looking at Abel Tasman National Park. On the way to Totaranui.

In Abel Tasman National Park we took a boat trip

We found this little blue penguin on the beach

Spot the seals...at Tonga Island Abel Tasman National Park

After camping at Totaranui we went to the West Coast. Ellen not happy to be here!

Punakaiki Rocks at Paparoa National Park. They are also known as Pancake Rocks and are made of limestone.

Everything in Shantytown is like life in the 1800’s. We took a ride on this train powered by steam.

Part 3 Christchurch, Hanmer Springs, Taupo. At Orana Park, Christchurch.

In the Centre of Christchurch. Behind us is the “Red Zone” where many buildings have had to be knocked down due to the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes.

We swam all day at Hanmer Springs. The pools were hot, some were sulphur pools (40 degrees!). Lots of fun slides, water buckets and a kids water playground.

Prawn farm Taupo. Geothermal powerstation waste water is used to farm prawns. The big ones like this are males.

We only caught 2 prawns. But we ate them along with chicken nuggets

At the Huka Falls, Taupo. Dad says the Waikato River travels north almost to Auckland, about 400kms. It is used to make our lights go and we probably drink it in Auckland too. We went home the next day :(.
