Exodus 3:11-14 (Message Bible) Moses answered God, "But why me? What makes you think that I could ever go to Pharaoh and lead the children of Israel out of Egypt?" [12] "I'll be with you," God said. "And this will be the proof that I am the one who sent you: When you have brought my people out of Egypt, you will worship God right here at this very mountain." [13] Then Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the People of Israel and I tell them, 'The God of your fathers sent me to you'; and they ask me, 'What is his name?' What do I tell them?" [14] God said to Moses, "I-AM-WHO-I-AM. Tell the People of Israel, 'I-AM sent me to you.' "

WHO AM I? Exodus 3:11

I've been away for 40 years.

Lord, who am I to be doing this mighty work?

GOD'S ANSWER: I WILL BE WITH YOU! Exodus 3:12

It's not about your credentials, Moses. It's all about me.

You'll be the messenger, let me be God.

2. WHO WILL I SAY HAS SENT ME?

Won't this seem a little odd, me showing up with a message from a god out in the wilderness?

There are lots of gods in Egypt. What is your name?

GOD'S ANSWER:

Tell them "I AM" sent you.

3. AND WHAT IF THEY ARE A HARD SELL? Exodus 4: 1

Don't you think this whole story will seem a little unconvincing?

4. I'M NOT MUCH OF A PUBLIC SPEAKER Exodus 4: 10

GOD'S ANSWER:
