UNITYin Greek = Henotes

- Means God produce oneness

among believers

- sharing of nature w/ the level

(Gen. 1:26; Col. 1:17)

To obtain unity we have to

look for Jesus

5 May the God who gives enduranceand encouragement give you thesame attitude of mind toward eachother that Christ Jesus had,6 so that with one mind and one voiceyou may glorify the God and Father ofour Lord Jesus Christ.7 Accept one another, then, just asChrist accepted you, in order to bringpraise to God.

20…I pray also for those who willbelieve in me through their message,21 that all of them may be one…

23 so that they may be brought tocomplete unity. Then the world willknow that you sent me and haveloved them even as you have lovedme.

When you talk of unity in Prayer, there must be

INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY.

When we talk about INCLUSION, wetalk about bringing the GreatCommission without compromisingthe truth. When it comes to thetruth, we become exclusive.

When we talk about DIVERSITY, wetalk about the substance not theform. God accepts our prayer inwhatever form as long as it is inorder. God looks at the substance.

Complimentary prayers

4 Just as our bodies have many partsand each part has a special function,5 so it is with Christ’s body. We aremany parts of one body, and we allbelong to each other.

We need partners in prayer.

1 How good and pleasant it is whenGod’s people live together in unity!

When there is unity, God commands blessings.

There is power in corporate prayers as well as in

personal prayers.

Your personal prayer must unite with the corporate

prayers.

3 Make every effort to keep the unityof the Spirit through the bond ofpeace.4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hopewhen you were called;5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;6 one God and Father of all, who isover all and through all and in all.

Unity is not uniformity! We have strength in our

diversity!

Communion Prayers (Love)

7 Accept one another, then, just asChrist accepted you, in order to bringpraise to God.

That’s why there is Amen; it means that we

agree to his prayer.

Set guidelines in prayer.

34 “A new command I give you: Loveone another. As I have loved you, soyou must love one another.35 By this everyone will know that youare my disciples, if you love oneanother.”

Cooperation/Contribution Prayer

4 4

32 All the believers were one in heartand mind. No one claimed that any oftheir possessions was their own, butthey shared everything they had.33…And God’s grace was sopowerfully at work in them all34 that there were no needy personsamong them.

Let us create and build prayer circle this week.

• Monday—Pray for all the FATHERS• Tuesday—Pray for all the MOTHERS• Wednesday—Pray for all the

CHILDREN• Thursday—Pray for the CHURCH• Friday—Pray for our COMMUNITY• Saturday—Pray for our COUNTRY• Sunday—THANKSGIVING DAY

When we are divided, nobody wins, we are all losers. In a war, nobody

wins, everybody are losers.

20 For where two or three gather inmy name, there am I with them.”
