Two types of BTS Family:• BTS Plus: BS240XL, BS240, BS241, BS240B II• BTS Basic: BS240XS, BS288.

CC Link: Bi-directional Link between CU and COBA. Used for sending alarm to BSC

CAN BUS: All non CU boards (Combiner) send alarm to COBA via CAN BUS.

Main function of COBA/COSA: • Local control of entire BTSE• Generation of System clock• Provide max 8 interface to BSC/other BTSE(4 for other BTSE, other 4 for BSC)• Routing Abis data to CUs• Provide & control T interface to LMT• Handling & Processing of O&M msg.• COBA stores BTSE SW.• Supervises SW downloads• Handle signaling msg between CU & BSC.
