A cross-bording-project in the Pyrenees, betweenFrance and Spain.

The cities of Tarbes and Huesca are the two territories involved in the project.

The CAPAS‐Cité project was selected within the framework of the call for projects of the program of cross‐border cooperation Spain France Aragon (POCTEFA), for a duration of 4 years, from January, 2016 till December, 2018 (extended until 2019).

Leader of the project, it is the structure responsible for project management and the financial commitments.

The Laboratory " Movement, Balances, Performance and Health " design and evaluate the intervention programs promoting physical activity.

In charge of the communication of the project and the organization of the physical activities in the city

The research group leads an intercultural approach and optimizes the resources of 2 territories.

o A PhD student recruited for the study (2016-2019)

o Study implemented in two schools in Tarbes

o Evaluation of the levels of physical activity,attention and academic achievement. (37%children are below the 60 mn of PA per dayrecommended by the World Hearlth Organization).

o Intervention to promote PA in the schools Programme co-constructed with the

participants (children, parents, teachers)o Follow-up and evaluation of the programme

(control school/ experimental school)
