What Music Means To Me

Childhood

This song was important to me during my early years because S Club 7 was my favourite band. They were the first concert I went too and the first album I bought. Along with Spice Girls, they are the highlight of music during my younger years.

Early Teens

This song is important to me from my early teens as it reminds me of under 18 events and younger ‘discos’, as it was the first song that I can remember listening to with a ‘party’ tune to it. The song is very catchy and is still now, to this day, one of my favourite songs to listen to as it brings back loads of memories!

Present Day

I chose Florence and the Machine’s cover of Take Care, as she is one of my favourite artists, as well as the artists who first sung it, Drake and Rihanna. It is one of my favourite songs at the moment as it just reminds me of concerts and makes me look forward to concerts and festivals I’m seeing in the summer, which is why a David Guetta song also is one of my favourites.
