Instructions for Printing from Your Laptop

@ the Westerville Public Library

PRINTING FROM A LAPTOP

• Go to www.westervilelibrary.org/print• Make sure that your laptop meets the

necessary requirements.• Click on GET STARTED.

Click on PACKAGES.

Choose MOBILE_BW.

Click RUN.

Click RUN again.

Click INSTALL.

Wait while the SOFTWARE installs, then click the FINISH button.

Printing in Color.

• If you would like to print in color, follow all of the previous steps, but choose the MOBILE_COLOR option as shown in slide #4 instead of MOBILE_BW.

• B&W printing costs $.10 per page.• Color printing costs $.25 per page.

Go to your START MENU and select PRINTERS AND FAXES.

Select the icon for the printer you would like to keep as your default.

Right-click and choose SET AS DEFAULT PRINTER.

When you are ready to print, select the PRINT option.

Note: If you choose the QUICK PRINT option, the print will automatically be sent to your default printer.

Select the desired PRINTER.

Type in your LIBRARY CARD NUMBER.

Go to the PRINT PAY STATION.

• There are three PRINT PAY STATIONS in the library. One outside of the Technology Center, one in the Teen Room and one in the Kids Lab.

• Use this station to add money to your library card. Prints cost $.10 a page for Black & White and $.25 a page for Color.

• Please see a staff member for assistance as needed.

Go to the PRINT PICKUP RELEASE STATION.

• There are four PRINT PICKUP RELEASE STATIONS within the library. One outside of the Technology Center, one in the back of the Technology Center, one in the Teen Room and one in the Kids Lab.

• Use this station to release your print jobs. • Money will be automatically deducted from

your library card account for the prints you choose to release.
