Please note that species and proportions may vary according to availability of the seed, the time of year, weather patterns and

other variables beyond our control. Once Meadowmat Roofmeadow has been established, the mix of species is likely to change

as the plants adapt themselves to their new growing conditions.

Grasses: Sheepsbit

Flowering plants: Birdsfoot trefoil, Bladder campion, Cheddar pink, Clustered bellflower, Common daisy, Common poppy,

Cornflower, Fox and cubs, Harebell, Lady’s bedstraw, Maiden pink, Meadow saxifrage, Ragged robin, Sea campion, Selfheal,

Soapwort, Thrift, Vipers bugloss, Water avens, Wild Thyme, Yarrow, Yellow rattle

Creating a green roof with Meadowmat Roofmeadow

The roof must be waterproofed with a slight fall, excellent drainage and

a weight bearing capacity in excess of 250Kg/m2

Install proprietary drainage layer with filter fleece

Add at least 100mm depth of green roof substrate

Unroll Meadowmat Roofmeadow directly onto substrate being careful not to stand or kneel of the plants. Using laying

boards if necessary

Water thoroughly. Do not allow Meadowmat to dry out in the first 4 weeks after installation

Maintenance

Once established, Traditional Meadowmat is easy to care for :

March—September: allow Meadowmat to grow, flower and set seed. Irrigate in periods of prolonged drought (more than 2

weeks without rain)

October/November: cut back to 10 cm high, remove all cuttings.

November-February: Keep surface free of debris (eg fallen leaves) and ensure drainage outlets are clear.
