WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE
The Organizing Committee is pleased to welcome you to Québec City for the 10th International Shared Decision Making Conference, from July 7 to 10, 2019.
Université Laval is proud to be the official host of this Conference and to support patient engagement within the Faculté de médecine.
This year, the theme of the Conference is Patient-Oriented Shared Decision Making Research. This Conference is a unique chance to discuss best strategies for involving patients in research on shared decision making so that it better reflects their knowledge, priorities and needs. Attesting to our commitment to include the experiences and insight of patients as experts on their own health conditions, this conference is a certified Patient Included event.
Regardless of whether you are a researcher, clinician, patient, student or healthcare professional, we encourage you to make the most of these four days to discuss amongst yourselves, share your practices and acquire new knowledge. The Scientific Committee has put together an exciting program that, without a doubt, you will find very interesting.
Finally, we are happy to welcome you to beautiful Québec City and we hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to discover its many charms during your stay.
We wish you an excellent Conference!
