Project Description

Atlanta Streetcar will be a Modern Streetcar

Storage and Light Maintenance Facility

Maximum vehicle speed ranges from 25 to 35 miles per hour 

Powered using electric propulsion and supported by overhead contact wire system 

Simple Platforms 

Fully ADA Compliant 

Continuous welded rail embedded in existing streets

Route

The streetcars will travel along a figure 8 alignment that

converges at Woodruff Park

The streetcars will operate eastbound via Park Place,

Edgewood Avenue and Jackson Street to the Martin

Luther King Jr. National Historic Site

The streetcars will continue westbound via Auburn Avenue, Peachtree Street, Ellis Street,

Carnegie Way and Andrew Young International Boulevard to

Centennial Olympic Park Drive

The streetcars will continue eastbound via

Luckie Street to return to Woodruff Park
